LYNDEN HOUSE
The Lynden House Project is Nerida Stewart’s family residence, situated in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Originally built in the late 1970s, the home’s abundant natural light and unique features inspired Nerida to undertake a two-stage renovation.
Central to the design was the maximisation of natural light. The home’s unconventional floor plan and split levels offer frequent views of the lush garden, creating a serene and relaxed atmosphere. Nerida crafted the design using a palette of light timbers, natural stone, and monochromatic tones, achieving a sophisticated ‘Japandi’ aesthetic.
"As an interior designer, my goal is always to rejuvenate spaces, and our home was no exception.”
